KiWi TIME singer/bassist Anna Makovchik describes their upcoming EP “It’s KiWi TIME” as being “about love, freedom, fighting and hope. We started working on this EP in May 2013. All the songs were written at different times but found a destination on “It’s KiWi TIME.” We worked on the project with two very different producers who brought a lot to the sessions. Scott Llamas focused on indie sound and structures. Dan Shea finished everything including a lot of work on our accents and finding a great combination between our indie rock roots and a more pop synth sound. The EP includes happy upbeat songs like “Butterfly,” “Hero” and “Be My Love.” The song "I Am Alone " is a little different because the organ is what gives the song a free spirited vibe. The song " Killing Me Baby" is groovy with a cool guitar hook that tells the story of a guy who’s heart was broken. We are happy to finally finish this EP and hope all our fans will feel the energy we put into this creation.”
