Upcoming Artist and Producer out of Florida, COBAIN releases his debut album ‘The Commentator’ on March 29th, 2015. Born and raised in the Midwest region (Topeka, Kansas) Curtis Huggins Jr. or COBAIN spent his mature years in Orlando, FL where he moved to at the age of 13 after his father Curtis Sr. was murdered. COBAIN accredits his father for his first interest in music, but mostly raised by his mother, step-father, and grandmother his appreciation for different genres grew. In high school COBAIN wrote and recorded music for the first time with friends from his neighborhood. He excelled academically and athletically, receiving awards for writing. Perhaps most notable, he had a brief stint as division 1 Track and Field athlete. Finding trouble at two schools in two years during college he moved back to Orlando shortly before joining the US Navy. In the Navy, COBAIN found music to be his getaway and permanent hobby. Recording alongside friend and fellow artist William R.I.C.E. they went by ATINHUT a duo name that highlighted their ‘come from nothing’ childhood but also meant attention, in the military. The artist put together a series of mix-tapes (5 in two years) geared towards their then military lifestyles and struggles.
