Debra has a timeless sound packaged together with some timeless music. It is her love for singing that radiates song after song.

Some of her early influences where Aretha Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Vanessa bell Armstrong and Shirley Murdock. Many have compared her singing to people like Jill Scott, Erika Badu, Lauren Hill, Lalah Hathaway and Yolanda Adams. Debra has also sang in numerous groups namely Shirley Murdock, Keith Dobbins,
