My name is Marv Ellis and I hail from the city of Eugene, in the green state of Oregon, which lies in the heart of the great Northwest, USA. A long time ago I was taught how to rap by a Swiss Emcee named Dimitri. And I never stopped learning after he left. I’ve developed my style of rap by bending my homemade poetry over a variety of genres. I want the world to hear my music at least one time, cause I got something to say that’s relevant and reflects my people. I know that my hard work and dedication to my message will someday prevail. Being an independent musician has helped me develop a multitude of skills that range from song writing and production, to album consultation and graphic design. I’ve put out over a dozen albums, performed and recorded my music all over the world, and still the journey continues on. I hope to advance the fresh, real, and authentic sound of NW hip-hop. I write, produce, and record all my own music in my studio. I also throw shows for other artists who want to come to Oregon and have a crowd. I’m connected throughout the Northwest to a variety of talented artists of all genres. I’m open to creation of all types. This is my purpose so I will continue. Thank you for your support. Come True.
