Thirty years after internationally acclaimed Austin roots rock band THE TAILGATORS released their debut album 'SWAMP ROCK', the album is finally available digitally for the first time.

Released in 1985, SWAMP ROCK established the TAILGATORS as one of the premiere genre bending rockers to come out of the U.S. and contributed to putting Austin's legendary music scene on the map. Leady had just left the hugely popular LeRoi Brothers, a band he founded with his friends Steve Doerr and Mike Buck, to try a new, rawer sound with legendary bass player Keith Ferguson who had just parted from The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Gary Mudcat Smith on drums rounded out the power trio who toured internationally from 1985-1992. Leady and Ferguson were nominated for a Grammy in 1986 for their work with Big Guitars From Texas alongside Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Beck.
