It is a tribute to Lev Tolstoy and his masterpiece Anna Karenina. The rhythmic style of the song is a bit jazzy and the train beat is that of a modern electric train rather than an old locomotive train of Tolstoy's era. 'I woke up too late' is a story of today's hectic life. Whether you are a musician or a business man, the nights tend to be all too short and the mornings tend to be busy or even chaotic. 'Life is waiting' is a satirical story of the fact that most of the working hours and leisure time is spent waiting for something. It is a great contradiction that people on one hand have too little time, and on the other hand waste much of that time on waiting. This natural law possibly holds true until the end of life! 'The penultimate day of your life' was originally titled 'The saddest blues in the world'. The story is self-explanatory and and we are continually faced with "sad" situations like that in real life. While recording, the original blues style was transformed into a reggae-like style. Director-General
