The seven pieces for soprano with solo trumpet (coming from a manuscript of the Bodleian Library of Oxford) are arias in three parts where the dialogue between voice and instrument turns into a bravura tournament, with echoes and answers which are rather difficult for the performers. Il Trionfo dell’Onestà, Serenade for two Sopranos with Violins, was composed and performed in Rome, in 1706, and is divided into a series of Arias, Recitatives and instrumental refrains; it begins and ends with two pieces for two voices.
