Franco Prinsloo is a South African composer, performer and artist. He composes in a great variety of styles including choral, classical contemporary, new music, cabaret and theatre. He seeks to explore sound possibilities and often builds his own instruments (the XENOPHONE - a bowed metal instrument) or de-constructs/modifies/destroys old instruments,especially old found piano's.
