Danny's third album heads off into new territory. While the first two albums were all instrumentals, seven tracks on this album are vocals. While the first two albums were solo guitar, this album has predominantly songs with multiple instrumentation including Danny's lead guitar with a slack key influence, bass, rhythm guitar, and on some songs drums, and even cello. Also, one song includes the Hawaiian rhythm instrument called ili'ili (small rocks held in the hand and played, often by hula dancers as they chant). All the arrangements were carefully done by Danny to produce a new sound that he has been working on. In all, it took Danny nearly two years to put all this music together and get it just the way he wanted it to be. Despite all this, the emotional and haunting quality of his solo work is also preserved, especially on the two songs on the album that are his own compositions. In all the music is fresh, original, energetic and beautiful.
