The album contains nine sets of Johan Sebastian Bach’s preludes and fugues, arranged for choir and a jazz trio by Raimonds Pauls, author of numerous Latvian popular melodies and one of the all time greatest Latvian jazz pianists. The album is a unique fusion of Bach’s genius music, contemporary means of expression and jazz rhythms.

Latvian youth chamber choir “Kamer” (conductor Maris Sirmais), pianist Raimonds Pauls, drummer Maris Briezkalns and Estonian double-bass player Toivo Unt participated in creating this unique ensemble of Bach’s geniality and contemporary musical expression.
