Singing and songwriting has always came natural to me. Many people will agree that telling a story or describing a situation can be fairly easy. When I learned how to arrange those stories and situations in a song, that is when I began songwriting. Growing up in a huge family full of talented relatives also played a significant role in pursuing a music career. My mother, who also sings, has always been my biggest inspiration. This is apparent when I tell my fans that my stage name is simply a dedication to my mother. My mom's name is Venita, and I am her son, when combined you get "Nitason".
