Ashan's Air & Ether is about exploring our own physicality as it relates to sound; sounds that make our bodies want to move in a certain way or that feel like they exist in a certain physical environment. The spaces opened up in these four tracks conjure up primordial feelings of belonging to the world as the air moves around us. Sean Conrad has been making music as Ashan for 6 years now starting in Melbourne, Australia and now in Oakland, California where he lives. The project, he says, has been about 'trying to put something positive into the world, trying to find the things that make me feel alive and healthy and share those things as best I can.
