Bio: Born on Dec 24, 1986 in Tallahassee FL.. FJ Outlaw (Real name Justin Mende) moved to the rural area of 'Port St John' at the age of 3. Growing up in low income trailer parks and moving around from town to town until the age of 13, FJ naturally found trouble (or as FJ would say trouble found him) getting kicked out of 4 schools between 7th-10th grade and constant run-in's with local law enforcement, he found himself getting arrested for the first time by the age of 17. FJ's father (John Mende) who was never in his life, played in a mid-level country band called 'Slim Sommerville and the Southlanders' who's most notable accomplishment was placing in Nashville Tennesee at the "Grand Ole Opry" in 1981. FJ's mom would often tell him of his father's musical talents at a young age, which further helped to spark his interest in music. His mother bought him his first guitar at 7 yrs old that he taught himself how to play & by 13 he had already been in several bands. At this time he started getting into hip hop although it wasn't until he was 18 that he actually started rapping, soon he found a mix between his country, rock & hip hop roots that brought together his unique style and flow. Now on the verge of releasing his debut EP "Shotguns N' Whiskey" he's all work and no play, gearing up for a 4 month marketing campaign set to kick off in April 2016. "I'm at a point now where i'm comfortable with myself as an artist, this just feels right, almost like it was meant to be.
