1988 - The Mixtape is Paul Athoe's free follow-up to his debut album, Come Together. Since the previous release and while working on this project, P.A.'s been playing shows all over Buffalo, New York and has even shattered attendance records at certain venues. 1988 was done in the free mixtape format in an effort to dramatically grow his fan-base. On 1988, P.A. flaunts his versatility as an emcee while jumping on beats ranging everywhere from hometown producer's, to his classic east coast style were used to, to radio ready pop hits, all the way to dubstep. This is an artist who's definitely steady inclining and a project no hip-hop head should be without.
