"A Journey of the Mind" is a rock concept album in five movements. The 5 songs that comprise the album call out to the listener's imagination to interpret one's own moods, emotions, energy, and feelings through the music. It is rock meditation taken to another level. Producer Nick Rossos was inspired to create the album by his early experiences with progressive rock and the "underground" music of Bill Graham's Fillmore East bands. The music of that era, which we call classic rock today, was the primary influence on both his arrangements and the long improvisations that he created with Grammy nominee Thomas Marolda. Nick feels very fortunate that he was able to work with one of the great drummers in the history of rock, Kofi Baker. Keyboardist extraordinaire Michael Gallant lent an extremely creative touch to our project. Dr. Nick and the Wah Wah Boys are pleased to present to you a new sub-genre of rock: rock meditation. Enjoy.
