The lady with the bangers is back and again she got some high quality goods in her bag including a remix by Dirty Doering. GIGEE’s ‚Check Mate‘ is energetic and fun, especially since she managed to match rollings synths and a rolling baseline together, creating ear easing melodic techno. On such an energetic track Dirty Doering had to do his own take. The remix takes the big stage feeling out and adds a wavy touch, to make it more compatible for a long stretched set. Next up is the track called ‚Awakening‘, which stirs up rumbling bass with positively vibing synths. Finally there is ‚Confetti‘, the seemingly calmest piece of the EP. This impression gets immediately blown away as soon as the massive horns are hammering in for the first time. This is slow paced but loaded with energy!
