This under recorded gem from Guaraldi's catalog is equal parts haunting and hopeful, pensive yet playful. The arrangement features the Michael and Brad sharing melodic duties and taking turns improvising over the sonic landscape that owes as much to classical harmony as it does to jazz. Master percussionist Marc Wolfley rounds out the ensemble with tasteful textures that tickle your ears and transforms Guaraldi's masterpiece from a traditional waltz feel into a bubbly Latin 6/8 soundscape.
