Jireh Gospel Choir was founded in August 1996 by Carol Bernard. Best known for their strong vocal talent, this Montreal group has performed with Cirque du Soleil at the Montreal International Jazz Festival, recorded 7 songs on the platinum-certified album "Noel avec Jireh Gospel Choir" with popular Quebec artist Mario Pelchat, performed at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, and was selected to represent Canada at Polyfollia - a world showcase in France. Their self-titled CD "Jireh Gospel Choir", nominated for a Covenant Award and a Vibe Award for “Best Urban/Soul Album of the Year” is in stores now.
