简介
I started playing guitar when I was 13. I joined my high school jazz band, and later received a scholarship for jazz studies. Writing music has always been part of my life, but I've always been embarrassed to share my music with people because I felt that, in some way or another, it felt contrived, under par, and not worth its listener's undivided attention. However, I believe I have begun to crack the surface of how that can be accomplished. For the track "Listen To It Like You're Watching A Movie", I recorded every instrument myself, and didn't utilize basic recording mechanisms such as pitch correction and drum patching. I recorded it on an old , outdated computer, on old, outdated recording software. Everything you'll hear is authentic, and yet, you'll find out, none of that matters. You may notice some homemade-sounding characteristics of the song. That is proof that music of this magnitude can be of high artistic value without requiring the big price tag of a professional production studio. Thank you for listening. You have no idea how much it means to me.
