Robert and Adelle Burton met through music on November 7, 1996. The debut of their Jazz stylings occurred at the Oakville Ontario Jazz Festival (considered one of Canada’s premier Jazz-focused events) in June 1999 - one month before they were married. In May 2000 they moved to Winnipeg and have since been a fixture on the local scene. During the past 14 years they have performed music, recorded music, opened a music school and have made music the answer to many of life’s most basic questions. Robert is an honours graduate of the prestigious Humber College Modern Music Program, majoring in performance and composition for percussion and guitar. Adelle is a privately trained vocalist with a life- long passion for singing. On this CD, Adelle sings and Robert plays all the instruments as well as records, produces, mixes and masters all the songs.
