BAROUH is a solo project created by Paula Barouh, singer and media host from Chile. Barouh’s music is influenced by different genres of electronic music as well as rock and pop. Even though her work in media has been the focus of attention in recent years with the TV show "Cortentrámite" and as host and producer of several radio shows, her musical work gave important steps on 2007. That year, with a song entitled “Convulsion” playing on her Myspace and an elaborated promo video rotating regularly on MTV Latin, she catch the attention of chilean media, establishing her name as a strong local performer. Convulsion also was included in the compilation album Dark People Volume I, edited by the chilean label Feria Music. In 2008 this track was also included in the compilation album Till Dawn do us edited in Belgium. In 2010 Barouh was chosen by the dutch band The Gathering to be the opening act on a massive benefit concert in Chile. The show took place in one of the most notorious chilean venues; Teatro Caupolicán. Released in 2012, Barouh's debut album is a mix of rock, pop, electronic beats and versatile vocal arrangements. In 2013 Barouh became semi finalist in Hard Rock Raising Competition of Hard Rock Cafe Santiago and was choosen to perform in the big chilean festival called El Dia de la Musica. In 2015 Barouh released INEVITABLE EP, a two track abum produced by Pablo Sticipic.
