Sky & Signal is a Northern Michigan indie electropop trio. We’ve been compared to bigger acts like Phantogram, Purity Ring, London Grammar, GEMS, and Daughter. Like those bands, we integrate programmed and sampled material with analog instrumentation. Our songs are built around lush female vocals that explore issues of love, nature, and growth. This album features the best-loved two songs from our first EP with richer instrumentation, completely remastered: “Seeds” and “Coming Home.” “Seeds” is a layered, dreamy, synth-driven tune, with a non-traditional structure that comes in at just under five minutes. “Coming Home” has a more traditional structure and is acoustic-driven, coming in at just over three minutes. Both have lots of atmospheric touches that would go over well late at night.
