Nomansland is the brand new studio album by Dutch singer songwriter Bowe released in 2013. The album features twelve original tracks which were written by Bowe and his writing companion Ton Snijders (Frank Boeijen) and two monoPunk remixes. It’s predecessor ‘Moving through the Night’ got very positive reviews in The Netherlands. Leading radio DJ Frits Spits called it a remarkably good debut and website Musicfrom described it as ‘John Mayer meets The Eagles’. Nomansland features special guest performances by Sandra St. Victor (The Family Stand) and Tollak Ollestad (Don Henley, Seal). Also many Dutch artists contributed such as Arnold van Dongen (Ilse DeLange and Candy Dulfer), Jan Kooper (Doe Maar), Florian Hoefnagels (Leona), Danny Samar (monoPunk) and Thijs van Leer. The new poprock album was written over de course of the last four years. Bowe’s favorite tracks are Nomansland, Love is getting high and Tired of giving good things up. The record features rock tracks such as Nomansland and World of misery, pop tracks like No future and the Coldplay oriented Lay down this road and ballads like Trouble is all I know and Rainchild. All tracks were recorded at the Sound Vision Studios in Arnhem. Zlaya Hadzich mastered the album in Amsterdam. The Bowe touring band consists of various combinations of musicians as most members are active in several other projects.
