There are a total of 5 chants and 5 songs composed by Sounds of Isha to the most revered works of Shri Adi Shankara, Kalidasa, Subramani Bharathi and others. These songs, dedicated to the three different forms of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati, represent the qualities of fierceness, vibrance and subtleness, revealing the essence of Navaratri in a musical way. Sadhguru also has rendered his voice for 2 of the chants. Triveni or “three rivers” celebrates the three predominant aspects of the Feminine Devi– Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. During Navaratri, a festival dedicated to the Feminine Divine, Devi manifests in her many forms. The first three days are tamas, where the Goddess is fierce like Durga. The second three days are rajas, for the materially-oriented Lakshmi. And the last three days are sattva, dedicated to Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and transcendence. Durga represents Mother Earth, power, immortality and strength. Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and abundance. Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Navaratri, a nine-day festival dedicated to the Devi, is a celebration of the Feminine. These nine days are classified as per the three basic qualities of tamas, rajas and sattva. The first three days of Navaratri are tamas, where the goddess is fierce, like Durga and Kali. The next three days are rajas and celebrate Lakshmi, a gentle but materially- oriented goddesses. The last three days are sattva and are dedicated to Saraswati, a symbol of transcendence. On the tenth day, Navaratri culminates into Vijayadashami, a day of victory over darkness. Navaratri is of tremendous cultural significance in India and is celebrated with gaiety and love. The songs of Triveni are an offering to Devi’s various formsDevi in her many forms and an appeal for her infinite Grace. Linga Bhairavi Devi Linga Bhairavi Devi is a powerful feminine form which unites the three fundamental dimensions of the Divine Feminine.
