Originally, I created this song for an event at my church's summer camp last year. I had two days to make it, and a group of my friends known as The Knot Wrappers were going to write a rap to it when we got to the camp and perform it on the last day of the event. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to record their performance or their vocals; things just didn't work out for that. But the song stands surprisingly well on its own as a Drumstep track. If you're confused by the title, the title of the song was based on the theme of our church's summer camp, burning the ships being a metaphor for ridding ourselves of everything from our past that keeps us from following Christ wholeheartedly.
