Ruben Lopez & The Diatones are the new and the old blood of the european scene. Veteran musicians from bands like The Kinky Coo Coo’s, The Oldians or Flight 404, got together two years ago along with the singer Ruben Lopez (Malarians, Peeping Toms, etc.) to give shape to this project They silently sneaked into the hearts of the most exigent fans of the genre and surprised everybody with a self-produced 7" adapting two covers really far away from their original style as ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’ and ‘Crucified’ are. Their music leaves no one indifferent and their versatility has successfully been put to test, their tunes sound like classics and that's not a coincidence; it is due to the security and mastering in which these reggae and rocksteady heavyweights deliver their whacks in the fashion of the purest classics of the genre.
