Music from The Hitchhiker - The Series Volume I The first CD of this iconic series is composed of the music from the first 4 episodes that I scored in the same order that I received the shows from the producers. I want to thank both Lewis Chesler and Riff Markowitz for giving me the opportunity to write and produce the music that is contained on this CD. It was both exciting and rewarding to work with so many talented directors, artists and musicians, all of whom contributed to making “The Hitchhiker” one of the television’s all time premier mystery and suspense series. The 1st show title is “Lovesounds”, a tale of an egomaniacal symphony conductor who is more interested in his new stereo sound system than his beautiful, unfulfilled wife. This music is contained on tracks 1 through 24. The 2nd show’s title is “Remembering Melody”, a graphic lesson most suited to those people who make promises they can’t keep a little too quickly and a little too lightly. This music is contained on tracks 25 through 38. The 3rd show’s title is “Face To Face”, this is a wonderfully morbid story about the consequences of what happens when a plastic surgeon tries to live “a little too high” and botches an operation on the wrong woman. This music is contained on tracks 39 through 51. The 4th show’s title is “And If We Dream”. All I can say about this one is; schoolteachers out there, you better think twice before you let your mind fantasize about your female students and not on correcting their homework.
