Darren Lee Richardson is an East Bay, California musician/songwriter. He has a history of being in hard rock, raw bands to writing easy listening acoustic numbers in his home studio. Most of his free time is spent creating music in his home studio, playing at open jam nights, reherasing with his internet rock partner in crime, and creating videos for his music. On a side note, he also enjoys helping his film making son with his projects. The Stand As One projcet from Darren Lee Richardson is mostly a solo project, but there are some notable contributions. The opening track, Raise Your Hand, has a very talented, young guitarist, Kyle Tom, who plays the amazing leads on this energetic rock anthem. Mental Divergence was a large collaboration with musician, singer and songwriter, Ron Castia, of Dissident Souls. Ron contributed the original music structure, played bass, rhythm guitar and the melting solos that really lift this song off the ground. Darren wrote the lyrics, sang the song and produced the track in his studio. It's a very cool tune about life's distractions keeping you from your full potential.
