Myristica brings you, 'Little Oak' - her follow-up album to, 'To the Moon and stars'. Written for and dedicated to her 11 year old son Sam, her third instrumental album is a collection of gentle, contemporary piano pieces, wistful waltzes, spacious, other-worldly and ambient soundscapes, including lightly orchestrated vignettes - some flavoured with Celtic and Medieval passages. Guest artists include three very talented musicians - two of which Myristica has collaborated with before - The Celturian, who provides acoustic guitar on 'Fairytale' and Chris Philpotts (aka Kibeja) who provides oboe on 'Stella Maris' and 'Carry me home'. Chris featured as a guest oboist on 'The Shores of Buttermere' from the album, 'To the Moon and Stars'. Phil Thornton, a multi-instrumentalist known for his music production skills has produced over 20 albums, selling over 2 millions albums worldwide. He is widely known in new-age music circles with his association with the New World Music label. Phil co-produced and mastered 'Little Oak' at the Expandibubble studio, East Sussex, UK, and also appears as a guest artist performing accordion on 'Thank you', electric guitar on 'Distance (ambient mix) and recorder on the title track.
