Esta es Jackie B. Nuestra musica, los artistas, productores y temas presentes de repente se mezclaron cuando vine a visitar a Panama desde los Estados Unidos para ver a mi papa en Cazco Viejo. El momento que mi hermana Anita y yo entramos al taxi de Charlie saliendo del hotel en la plaza Cinco de Mayo, él nos preguntó si conociamos al mejor artista de Panama - y nosotros por supuesto dijimos que no. De allí comenzó todo el cambio en mi vida del cielo a la tierra. Por primera vez, realice mis suenos de grabar musica con mi voz en un estudio por la bondad y vision de Big Charlie. Con todos los contactos disponibles en el país en el mundo de la música y productores, personajes de la radio y televisión Panamena como Tu Manana, debido a sus diez anos de experiencia en la industria, etc, Charlie fue creando los temas y traducciones sin saber, la verdad, que estabamos creando un album, con productores de alto nivel como DiBlasio, DJ Bomber & DJ Ving que ponen ritmos y música moderna para crear música latina divertida, bailable y con propósito - y con doble sentido. Es decir, la musica se puede aplicar y sentir al nivel personal y religioso a la vez, que no necesariamente fue nuestro proposito al inicio - nos parecia que El Señor queria mandar su mensaje asi para aclarar que situaciones y el amor que tenemos uno para el otro es parecido al amor que El quisiera que sintieriamos para El, para conocerlo mas. Ademas de eso, la musica da a publico secular y Cristiana a la misma vez. Muy raro pero a la vez realizamos que Nuestro Senor queria hacer algo especial con nosotros. Incluye reggaeton y bachata movida y suave, y el rap/hip hop intermezclados. Gracias al talento de cantautor Big Charlie, la presencia fuerte y suave flow de Fat Boy, y el toque femenino y sedoso de la voz de Jackie B, la musica es toda bailable y a la vez inspira al publico a considerar el mas aya de las relaciones romántica y relaciones familiares entre hija y padre, y todo en tiempo para el dia de los padres. Hey there everybody! This is Jackie B. Our music, the artists, the producers and song-topics suddenly collided by chance on a visit I made to Panama from the U.S. to see my dad. As soon as my sister Anita and I got into Charlie's cab, he asked us if we knew who the best artist in Panama was. We of course responded no - and he said well it's me - and handed us a CD of 12 videos that he had managed to make on his own in under 2 months in obedience to a promise he made to God so that he would prosper in the entertainment industry. That moment was the beginning of the rest of my life. Because of my Lord as well as Big Charlie, I realized my dream of recording music with my voice in a studio. With all the contacts in the world of music in Panama at his fingertips: Panamanian artists, producers, radio & television personalities, like "Tu Mañana," because of his 10 years of experience on the scene, , Big Charlie was creating the songs and I the translations at an incredible rate. We were doing so without realizing that we were creating an album, with producers from the higher echelons of Latin music like DiBlasio, DJ Bomber & DJ Ving who infuse rhythms to modern latin music to create danceable music that had a purpose, for a change - and with a double entendre. Meaning, the music can be applied and felt on a personal/relationship level OR for the pursposes of worship. It is all danceable music and simultaneously inspires the public to consider the deeper meaning of relationships and conflicts and how to approach each other with God in mind. In particular, Nina contains about 4 different themes: 1. denounces unbalanced relationships between girls who are too young or under age to enter into a relationship with an older man, who may have commitments and responsibilities already; 2. It is Anti-prostitution; 3. Anti-human trafficking (thus we have unintentionally entered the realm of political activism as well); and lastly, number 4. Following and thanking God as well. Additionally, songs like Revelame and Por El Amor Al DInero/The Love of Money bring issues into perspective when considering the return of Our Savior as well as learning to cope with and understand how we view and handle money - our message on that one is to instead Love God whom provides for all and not the love of money, because it kills you and breaks you, literally, can break your bank if you're focusing on, for example, vanity with no end positive purpose. Also, the album release date is just in time for Father's Day which will take place some 6-7 weeks from now on June 19, 2016, so "Papi" is perfect for the occasion. We hope that those celebrating this holiday will find a treasure here to give as a gift or to share with their parents and loved ones who have taken on the role of the male/leadership/mentorship person in their life. Finally, in preparation for a special talent show competition called "Shine" at the Gaylord Hotel in Orlando, Florida, organized and sponsored by the Christian talent scout organization AMTC (Actors, Models & Talent for Christ), I have had the pleasure of preparing and eventually performing three full music background tracks and acting showcases, one of the songs which must be an original. Well apparently God set us up with a completely original full Album containing 11 original tracks - a little bit more than the required one out of three. Praise God for His abundance then.
