In December 2012 Future Nuggets brought you the Sounds of the Unheard from Romania Vol 1. The compilation gained plaudits from across the globe and was even named by Andrew Weatherall as one of his compilations of the year. It disclosed an obscure and never revealed scene of Romanian experimental progressive music generated by a collective of musicians and producers working in various configurations under different cameos. The projects featured are transgressing multiple sonic continents and sub-genres; manele, cosmic rock, fictitious soundtrack library, leftfield electronica, pseudo-disco, all immersed in dub mentality and employing a psychedelic ethos. Laurent Garnier, Dj Harvey, Prince Thomas, Andrew Weatherall and many others played the compilation and it has been praised as a landmark of outernational mastery, displaying an edge soaked in analogue depths. Now re-released digitally.
