Tamar and Netanel - Love is the name of the game. Netanel and Tamar were born in Jerusalem. They met during a solo performance given by Tamar, and have been together ever since – in their music and their personal lives. They both grew up listening to American folk and country music along with the best of Israeli musicians. Tamar was an artist just starting out after having independently distributed her successful first single, “THE ONE THAT I WANT”, which won praise from the Israeli radio stations where it was played. She was on a concert tour to promote her music when she met Netanel. At that time, Netanel had been writing and composing music for himself with a dream of one day being able to turn his passion for music into a profession. Today, the duo is married and perform all across Israel - and about to expand the musical journey to the USA. In addition to folk and country music, the couple has added original Israel compositions to their repertoire. They have collected material for their debut album which will be released during 2015. Tamar and Netanel’s music has been greatly influenced by the classic great American folk artists – John Denver, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, the Carpenters, Eva Cassidy and others – along with contemporary artists such as John Mayer and Israeli artists such as Idan Reichel.
