Bang the Drums is the debut release from the talented Tribal House group Djembe Monks who hail out of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Established in 2011 the band is made up of Ndumiso Black Cee Tshuma, Emmanuel RootzKolossal Nkomo 'The Rabbi', Ngqabutho 'Slimzar Wa Africa' Ncube and Khotso 'TortureDrum' Nare. They are popular for their inimitable and enthralling blend of house music and live percussion. So riveting is their sound , as they jag the traditional African drums and organic vocals with the modern wheel spinning hum that all who bare testimony are left wanting more. To them music is their outlet, it taps into a very deep place and speaks in a way that regular words cannot. Listen and feel the Bang of the Drums.
