The Happy Analogues: Ted Reyes - Vocals, Guitars, Synths Paul Zurita- Vocals, Guitars Ronnie Lao- Vocals, Bass Richard Saguirre- Drums Biography The Happy Analogues is a Jersey City-based rock group that has generated quite a buzz in the underground rock scene with the release of their two-sided single -Minimum Memory Required. The two tracks in the release - 'Beautiful Pain' and 'Crazy Girl For You' garnered amazing reviews and has indeed put them in a path toward recognition and success. That path had indeed led them to a milestone - 'Beautiful Pain' was selected to be a part of a Filipino-American produced compilation album that was released for the benefit the victims of the Leyte landslide last February 2006 in the Philippines. The album, Leyte: The Benefit CD, is available worldwide and is currently enjoying massive airplay in the Philippines. In a couple of months after the Leyte selection, the band found themselves in yet another milestone - Rock in the Box. Rock in the Box is another Fil-Am produced compilation album that features 14 of the best Fil-Am bands in the US, including The Happy Analogues. the band wrote and recorded a special song for this album, 'Alaala' - A Filipino number that bitterly describes the breakup experience. Rock in the box is also available worldwide. The Happy Analogues have played in some of the best venues in New York City: The Cutting Room, The Knitting Factory and The Rebel. They have also toured the west coast playing in Los Angeles and San Francisco. The band also made a television performance on the Asian-American cable network, ABS-CBN/The Filipino Channel last March 4.
