简介
The Ball Park’s alive again with the sound of music, and as is customary for this excitable Brisbane five-piece, they’ve geared up to inject our souls with as much surgery, sonic stimulation as they can muster. Their latest album Museum is exactly what you would expect as a second offering from Ball Park Music. Whilst not being as schizophrenically ecstatic as their 2011 debut album, Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs, it is still a colourful, bouncy, wildly infectious indie-pop experience, with a few low-key ballads thrown in to balance out the high. Songs are snappy and straight to the point; bursting like mini, vibe-infused, sugary explosions (musical pop rocks!). The cheap, happy synth melodies crackling amongst energetic choruses and witty lyrics make for a breezy, easy listening, bristling with youthful exuberance and vigour.
