Saroon emerged from the depths of lead songwriter Ayal Alves and has grown to include A Walker Spring (Point Juncture, WA, Sallie Ford) on drums, Neal Wright (Wave Collector) on guitar, and Ethan Fox Tucker (Siren and the Sea) on bass. Alves writes lyrics of space age existential musings channeled through decades of optimistic depression. The result is a story of transformation through every song; layers of evolving textures and vocal harmonies that sweep underneath Alves' rich tenor, swing through the palette of emotion and bounce like mood swings from genre to genre. A series of records themed on the Classical elements is slated to be released over the next two years. The initial release based on Water, In The Garden Of Cities Built From More is an album meant to be heard in one listen. In The Garden... is a suite of six songs, each movement flowing to the next through introspective waves of transitional material that transports the listener to the oceans of their mind.
