简介
The title of Lean Into It is taken from a phrase commonly used by comedian Pete Holmes, usually in reference to accepting one’s shortcomings or idiosyncrasies. Lean Into It's punchier songs are a little less grating than Bike Thiefs' previous work, and the ballads a little less melodramatic. The lyrical content is conversational but sincere, the guitars loose, and the rhythm section pummelling. Lean Into It is a social record, meant as a rallying cry for empathy and understanding.
