"Makes me curious, a great strength in a record" (review in Lira, Scandinavia's biggest music magazine focusing on folk, world music and jazz). The album Ramankido aims to capture the spontaneity and freedom of duo improvisation. It was recorded in small houses in Sweden and Finland. A single stereo microphone was used. No additional tracks were added. Olli Strömberg plays the guitar, keyboard, piano, accordion and harmonica. Dag Strömberg, Olli's nephew, is playing a variety of flutes, such as low whistle, recorders and the traditional Swedish flute härjedalspipa.

The title of the album is a tribute to Simon Jansson, member of the Nora baptist congregation in the 1950's. When speaking with tongues - the secret language between man and God - his initial word was always Ramankido.
