Mirror is the first release off of the Genesis EP. The songs discusses the difficult and often dark experience of emotional and psychological growth, as it often our own psyche that scares us from ourselves.

The process is difficult and often shows you the worst about yourself. Despite the lyrics being cantered around the struggle and darkness of self-actualisation, the process is ultimately in your best interest and should thus be celebrated. This is why the dark lyricism is contrasted with an upbeat and energetic instrumental.
