简介

Tx/Rx has emerged from Atlanta as one the most exciting, original, song-oriented bands in the nation. The band has quickly developed a loyal international following based off their powerful and emotive music. Their acclaimed freshman 2006 self titled release “Transmit/Receive” saw college radio, internet radio, and TV show/film placement success. The track ”Divided” earned the Tx/Rx a featured artist spot on MTV’s The Real World. After listening to the album, one critic said "hard to believe Tx/Rx hasn't been signed to a major label". 2008 promises to be an exciting year as the band released their follow up album “Lost In the Static” in late May. This solid record contains the hits ”Disconnected”, “Chances”, and “Losing it All”. It has quickly moved into the CMJ top 200 charts. Much of the success of Tx/Rx is musicians who have a song first approach. The vocal talents of Kevin Author are hard to compare. Some comparisons have been to Bono, Chris Cornell, Davey Havok, etc. The twin guitars of Chad Carter and Lee Hendrickson evoke comparisons to some of the finest guitar duos in rock history. Groundbreaking Magazine says "the guitar riffs you will unconsciously try to air guitar". The recent addition of rhythm section members Delly Pranata and Brett Clanton have solidified the lineup and allowed Tx/Rx to continue their collaborative writing process. Now they are ready for live performances wherever their travels may take them. Tx/Rx has been on over 150+ FM radio stations as well as numerous internet radio broadcasts and many a podcast. Electrobus Radio even has Transmit/Receive on their must own list. Some other internet radio stations include several Live365 stations, Good S**t Music, Radio Free Cruze, Indiebandradio, etc. 2008 promises to be an exciting year as this exceptionally motivated band returns to the studio again to begin recording tracks for their 3rd album! Tx/Rx’s music is a must hear, and even better, their live show is a must see.
