Naked Truth was recorded in July, 2009, at Fitting Room Studios with Steve Berns engineer. An album of 28 poems. Ronee recorded two suites: one, a birthday composite for her daughter; the other, a meditation on the passage of time and the intransigence of connections. The others are single poems, from raucous rock and roll, to tender feelings, to ragged moments, philosophical proverb play, and pastoral reflections, all wrought through the filter of Blakley’s perception.
