During an age when artists follow the current trend, it is a welcome change to hear a songstress who walks on her own path. With a background in classical and gospel music, Jackie has created a sound that simply defines "her". Her ability to transfer emotions to lyrics and melody, puts her in a class all her own. Whether the sound has a rock edge, or an R&B groove, Jackie’s soul and passion can be felt in each note. As a Colorado native, Jackie established a solid local following with her talents being requested at such venues as the Black Arts Festival, and the Low Rider Car Show, where she shared the stage with groups such as a Lighter Shade of Brown. Jackie’s talent and vocal abilities have taken her to New York, where she has performed at Le Bar Bat, BB King Blues Club and opened for the New York International Music Festival at Madison Square Gardens. She has also had the privilege of opening for national acts such as Raekwon of Wu-Tang, and Digital Underground. Not only a talented singer and writer, Jackie is also a model and dancer. She has done promotional and runway modeling for Budweiser, Direct Casting, Aspire Model & Talent, Ascent Modeling, and Fine Lines Modeling Agency. She has also been a Hip-Hop/Modern Dance Choreographer for the Colorado Black Arts Festival; and the Lead Dance Choreographer for Countdown Productions and Kut-n-Crew Records. After relocating to California in early 2004, Jackie quickly gained notoriety. She has written and sung with Jazz-Funk artist Shinichi, and is now the lead singer of the Los Angeles Latin Hip-Hop girl group TripleSOUL. Although she has been in Los Angeles for only a short time she has already graced the stages of notable venues such as the Avalon, Highlands, Knitting Factory, and the Playboy Mansion.
