Welcome to Opus Db Singers. The five songs on this extended play album have all withstood the test of time. "Away In A Manger" has been a loved carol for many years. The arrangement and performance on this album remains true to the beautiful simplicity of the melody and text. "The Candy Canes are on the Tree" was improvised by Cynthia when she was a little girl, as she hung candy canes on the Christmas tree. We have been singing the song for twenty-seven years, and now offer it to the public. "The Elf Song," "The Ballad of Murgatroyd Moose" and "Merry Christmas to All the World" were composed about forty years ago by school music teacher Douglas Bischoff for his students. Through the years, elementary school, middle school and high school students have enthusiastically performed these songs to the delight of their audiences. Enjoy!
