简介
'Changing Stations Derailed' is an album consisting of 11 tracks for classical piano that have been re-worked and remixed by Damion O'Brien. The album sees Damion injecting a new lease of life into each track from 'Changing Stations' by Daniel Liam Glyn which produces an eclectic mix of Electronica, House, Ambient, Nu Disco, and Drum & Bass. 'Changing Stations' is an 11-track classical-contemporary album by Daniel Liam Glyn released in 2016 and is based on the 11 main lines of the London Underground. The album was composed using Grapheme Colour Synaesthesia; a neurological phenomenon where a person perceives words, letters, shapes, and numbers in colour. The project binds the characteristics and emotions possessed by each key signature with the thoughts, feelings and descriptions of the Underground by London commuters. The composition, recording and production of the entire project has been an amalgamation of classical and contemporary formations; paying homage to the Underground's history whilst using forward thinking / modern approaches to its current service.
