Members of the City of Dunedin Pipe Band are volunteers that donate their time and efforts to maintain their status as a First Class pipe band. When they compete throughout the US, Canada, and the UK, they act as ambassadors for the City of Dunedin and the State of Florida. Excellence in leadership, hard work, enthusiasm, talent and innovative ideas are elements that have made this band one of the best in the country. In August 1998 the band placed 2nd in Grade III at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. This album, presented by The Dunedin Brewery, contains a spirited collection of solo and band bagpiping and drumming tunes along with several tracks recorded by the Dunedin High School Scottish Highlander Band.
