简介
"Music is a snap shot of a moment or emotion that people go though." -Skitzo As hip-hop ages so do the listeners. My Boy Skitzo is making music for the listeners who have grown up listening to hip hop but have transcended their lives into families dealing with everyday family situation. Many people have children, which they are trying to raise and need someone who is able to relate. These situations may include their teen going through hormonal issues, balancing school and friends, testing parents to see what they can get away with, bills coming in, having to go to a job that may be unpleasant, younger kids acting out in school, throwing tantrums in the store, spouse issues, losing loved ones, and many more. If needing credentials there is no need to list all but here are a few. Skitzo has written many sports anthems for professional teams (Seattle Seahawks) and semi-pro teams (Tacoma Cobras), opened for national music acts and comedians (Ying Yang Twins, Kevin Hart). He has done songs with multi-platinum artists (Numb Skull of the Luniz). Has worked with radio stations for special event songs (Movin 92.5fm), produced multi-genre albums (Holiday, Christmas) featuring Stephanie Ann Johnson from “The Voice,” and has done so much more. My Boy Skitzo will show listeners that it is cool to be a grown up, put on that father hat, putting many childish things behind while still connecting to that inner child. There is much more to life than that next drink or that next blunt or that next hot girl you can bang. Skitzo will make people proud to be parents, seeing the joy and laughter of simple everyday life. Making people reminisce of things they did and how that may have helped or a hurt a situations. You will see the true meaning of not being able to judge a book by its cover. It does not matter how you look, how you dress, what kind of tattoos or piercings you may have. Good people come in all shapes and sizes and good people make bad decisions everyday. My Boy Skitzo will help lead through music in making our society better.
