Chicholina Sound Machine is our name, "tropical punk" is our game, and we don't like to play by the rules. Straight from Brooklyn, NY to the world, our mission is to convert every listener to our tropical big band mood and for sure we will make everyone pick up their favorite dancing shoes. Our "green-card nation" sound is a reflection of our struggle to survive in a wonder world full of ollicies and politics. We are among the ones that dare to swim upstream melting bureaucratic melodies with working class rhythms. Born in 2009, CSM is formed by Kate Dunphy accordion, Sebastian Fruit guitars, Pedro Erazo bass, and Cristobal Miranda drums.
