A Map of Your Heart is a fusion of original writing, ambient recordings and loops from around the world. Composed, arranged and mixed by An Di Yi, the album tells musical stories reflecting our global culture by blending a diverse collection of sounds blown in on the trade winds. Inspiration is diverse; the common thread being simply the experiences, journeys and friends of the last couple of years. The Road to Shangri-la, Yangon on Election Day, a Beijing style downpour. The haunting Watching Snow Fall recreates a scene from Murakami's Hard Boiled Wonderland, Zebras Dreaming comes from a painting by Chinese artist Wang Min, and The Motion of the Planets from watching the slow movements of the stars over the Bay of Bengal.
