Maranda LoveJones is full of love and positivity , and it reflects in her music. She tells stories about life, love , and strength through her poetic lyrics. She has a way of causing her audience to feel her passion and emotion when she sings. If she's singing about Love ; you will feel the Love. If she's singing about Hope ; you will be encouraged. Her musical style covers genres such as: Acoustic, Neo Soul, R&B, Jazz, Inspirational, and little bit of Pop. Her performances are very refreshing and genuine. She likes for her audience to connect with her by feeling the lyrics that she sings. Being born into a family of singers and musicians, falling love with music was easy. She grew up singing and creating harmonies with her siblings, playing the keyboard, and playing guitar with her favorite late uncle. She started composing and writing music in her early teens. She published and released a song ,that she recorded with her sister Camelia Jones as a duo by the name of (SG) ,called Thank You ". This song was featured on a compilation album in 2006 titled, " The Track Box" . She continued to write songs and study her craft; while singing at weddings, programs,and various events to gain experience. She is a former member of a wonderful gospel recording group by the name of , "Curtiss Glenn and Free2Worship", ( who is now called Curtiss Glenn and Freedom Movement). She traveled and sang with them for four years. In 2013 , she also recorded with the " Crown of Rejoicing Ministries" on their album titled " Moving Forward". She was the lead vocalist for their first single released " Help Me"; which is still being played on local radio stations in her hometown. Now she is ready to share all of her experiences and wisdom through her own music. Her ultimate goal is that every listener will feel the same passion and emotion that she put into every lyric and melody.
