China Syndrome is a rockin' melodic power pop band from Vancouver B.C. Canada, who combine the driving pop hooks of The New Pornographers and Guided By Voices with liberal dollops of old favourites such as XTC and the Replacements. Nothing's Not Worth Knowing, released in 2011, was recorded and produced at Vancouver's JC/DC Studio by David Carswell (Tegan & Sara, Destroyer, Tegan & Sara, the Shilohs). The album is described as "an absolutely solid, songcraft intensive slab of catchy, muscular Vancouver power pop” (The Big Takeover, #68) and "[it] exudes confidence" (The Province).
